“The Second Buddha: Master of Time”
Voiceover Scriptwriting // Narrative Development
Produced by Trollbäck + Company for the Rubin Musuem of Art
From the Rubin Musuem of Art:
“The Second Buddha brings together 41 works of art from the 13th to 20th century with interactive technology. Central to the exhibition are themes of the interconnected nature of past and future as the basis for constructing identity and projecting teachings into the future.”
Scriptwriting and Narrative Development
As part of their new 2018 exhibit, the Rubin Museum approached Trollbäck+Company to produce a short experiential film exploring the complexities of time. Working with museum staff and Trollbäck CD Brian Bowman, I helped develop a simplified narrative exploring the individual and collective experience of time, as told by a curious individual, an analytical astrophysicist, and an enlightened Buddhist.
The installation is on view as part of “The Second Buddha: Master of Time” exhibit from February 2 - January 7, 2019, after which it becomes a part of the Rubin Museum’s permanent collection.
